Interbreed success for Gentons Sara

Our first two shows this summer have certainly not disappointed and we’ve already managed to bag an interbreed title already.

We started the season off with a trip to Royal Bath and West Show where our senior bull Gentons Ramses won his class and then went on to be male and reserve overall champion.

Our cow, Gentons Qiana also won her class, while our senior heifer, Southfield Rhapsody stood third. Our junior heifer Gentons Sara, who is the first ET-bred animal to be shown by the herd, won her class and then took the best junior heifer title and reserve female champion. Sara also went on to stand native junior female interbreed champion and reserve overall junior. We also stood second in the Pairs and won the Group of Three class.

Next show for us was the Royal Three Counties at Malvern where this time Gentons Ramses stood second in his senior bull class and our junior bull making his first appearance, Gentons Sydney, also stood second. In the cow class, Gentons Qiana stood top of the line, while Southfield Rhapsody came fifth. Our junior heifer, Gentons Sara, won her class and again took the junior heifer title and stood female and reserve breed champion.

On the Sunday of the show in the Rare Breed classes, we repeated the same results in the senior and junior bull classes and Qiana came second in her class, Sara won her class took the breed championship and then excelled herself in the interbreed championship by taking top spot.
